Staying cooler and more comfortable has never been easier, thanks to the
Desktop Air Conditioner! Designed for ease of use, it utilizes frozen
water to create a personal climate-control system anyone can use.
Fill the supplied bottle with water, freeze it, place it back
inside the chamber and turn the power switch on. It is BATTERY
OPERATED (not included) or will run with an AC adapter (not
included). In tests, this unit cooled a 10’x10’ office cubicle
to 74 degrees for 6 hours using one frozen water bottle (ambient room
temperature prior to using Desktop Air Conditioner unknown). In
addition to summer storm emergencies, the Desktop Air Conditioner
can be used in the back of a van or minivan; to help cool an unairconditioned room;
or, it can be used at
outdoor activities such as picnics or camping. Keep in mind however,
that the airflow of the Desktop Air Conditioner is necessarily slow so that
the air can be cooled as it passes over the frozen water bottle. If using
the unit outside, cool air will only be felt if the unit is pointed directly
at one's face. This is truly
an innovative answer to keeping cooler in almost any circumstance! |
